With Thanksgiving right around the corner concert fans in Florida may have a lot to be thankful for when it comes to concerts in 2016. While we can’t stress enough the following are strictly rumors, all three are extremely exciting andwe had to share with our readers. We all know concerts can be expensive so consider this your warning to start saving…!
Let’s start with the most probable of happening and work down from there.
- AC/DC – Most of the country missed out on AC/DC’s 2015 Rock or Bust tour as the group only played six US shows. The reviews (including ours of the San Francisco show) were great, the shows sold well so it isn’t a suprise there has been a lot of talk about a wider reaching US tour. Eddie Trunk, a well-trusted music journalist has tweeted several times that he has heard a US tour is on tap for the spring:
. @WolfVanHalen doing a solo album I hear. I’ve posted many times here @acdc will do arenas US early next year. https://t.co/TdS7zygUwh

But will the tour come to Florida? Highly possible especially considering lead singer Brian Johnson lives in the Tampa area.
- Guns N’ Roses – Technically speaking GnR
- Duff McKagan, the group’s original bassist, filled in while the current bassist had other commitments a few years back
- This past summer Slash admitted to having talked to Axl and that they are on speaking terms (trust us – this is huge despite what it sounds like)
- Nikki Sixx, of Motley Crue recently tweeted:
@DruryAlliana @NikkiSixx do you think guns n roses should do a reunion tour? #asksixx THEY ARE. EVERYBODY KNOWS. — ❌ Nikki Sixx ❌ (@NikkiSixx) November 13, 2015
- Then just this week rumors started saying the announcement could come as early as next week.
While its always a good time to listen to some Guns N’ Roses and remind yourself just how many great songs they had, there has been no substantial evidence to support a tour is actually happening. At this point is a lot of “I hear from so and so that they heard it will happen” – but to be fair (and the reason we are reporting it) this is completely opposite of anything and everything you heard for the past 20 years. has been touring on a somewhat frequent basis in the recent years (save for 2015) but that was members Axl and Dizzy Reed with no other members from their “glory days” of the late ’80s/early ’90s. Once a dream for every rock fan a series of recent events seem to have fueled rumors of an reunion of members from the peak (mainly Slash/Axl). Let’s recap:
- Bruce Spingsteen – Besides the announcement of a new box set, 2015 was incredibly quiet in the Springsteen world. An out of the blue announcement that he’ll be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live in December suddenly fueld rumors of a tour in the very near future. While the source is credible, no one can seem to find his exact post saying a tour is coming.Regardless, Bruce has always been quite active, whether it be the East Street Band, Sessions Band, or solo, and rarely has gone more than two years without touring of some sort.
