It’s Monday, you’re probably back to work after the holiday and already itching to do something other than work. Perfect timing – it’s our weekly roundup of what’s happening in the Orlando concert scene from upcoming shows, to rumors, recently announced shows and shows going on sale. January is generally a pretty quiet month for tours, but expect February to pick up real fast especially with in-park concerts at Universal Studios and SeaWorld Orlando.

- 1/7 – Donna The Buffalo (The Plaza Live) The venue describes them best: “Original roots music since 1989, infused with elements of cajun, rock, folk, reggae, and country.”
- 1/9 – Silversun Pickups (The Plaza Live) The show is sold out but if you’re curious the Silversun Pickups are one of the bigger bands on the indie rock scene.

- 5/6 – Blue October (House of Blues Orlando) Onsale Friday, Jan 8th 10am.
Rumors
- Guns ‘N Roses’ reunion tour is all but announced. Axl Rose is scheduled to make media appearances this week to talk about the rumors and a tour announcement is expected to follow soon. Start saving your money now – tickets are rumored to be over $200.
